I recall a Star Trek episode where an alien entity entered the ship. “Day of the Dove”
At first the crew hardly realized any difference. As the episode continued the crew members seemed more and more agitated with each other. Everybody was arguing, fighting, and increasingly irritated with each other.
As in most classic Star Trek scenarios, Captain Kirk finally recognized the alien and what it was doing. The intruder was a life form that fed on hostility fear and conflict. The more conflict among the ship members the stronger it grew. The Captain reasoned that if anger fueled this entity, then surely friendship, goodwill and laughter would weaken and eventually chase this thing out of the ship. He explained this to his crew and instructed them to act accordingly. All this peace love and happiness caused the entity to shrivel up and vacate the ship !
Is it possible, just possible, that a foreign entity has hijacked many of our our sources of information. Is it possible, that perhaps, we are unaware victims of a regime trying to destroy this nation from within, using our Achilles heel to incite hatred and bring about instability.
